Subject: Freiheit für Binali/Libertad para Binali/Free Binali/Binali`ye özgürlük

 

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

mit Sorge habe ich von der Verhaftung des türkischen Flüchtling Binali Yildirim durch die spanische Polizei am 29.05.2007 auf Mallorca erfahren. Binali Yildirim ist ein in Deutschland anerkannter Asylbewerber, der auf Grund seines politischen Engagements in der Türkei gefoltert wurde. Obwohl er einen legalen Status in Deutschland hat, wurde er jetzt im Auftrag von Interpol verhaftet, da ein Auslieferungsantrag der Türkei vorliegt. Sollte Binali Yildirim in die Türkei abgeschoben werden, droht ihm dort neben einer langjährigen Haftstrafe erneute Folter. Ich rufe Sie daher auf, sich im Rahmen Ihrer Möglichkeiten für das Recht auf Asyl und gegen die Auslieferung Binalis Yildirims in die Türkei einzusetzen.

muy procupado noté la detención del refugiado político de Turquía, Binali Yildirm, por la policía española el día 29 de mayo de 2007 en la isla de Mallorca. Binali Yildirim está viviendo en Alemania como refugiado y peticionario de asilo reconocido porque lo torturaban y perseguían politicamente en Turquía. Aunque tiene un estatus legal en Alemania fue arrestado por Interpol porque el Estado turco solicitó su extradición. Si lo extraditara Binali Yildirim tendría que volver a la cárcel para muchos años y es muy probable que lo torturen otra vez. Por lo tanto exijo que usted haga lo más posible para hacer valer el derecho a asilo y en contra de la extradición de Binali Yildirim al Estado turco.

Dear Madame or Sir,

with concern did we receive the information of the arrest of the turkish refugee Binali Yildrim by the spanish police on the 29th of May, on the island Mallorca. Binali Yildrim has a temporary resident permit in Germany, and is a offically accepted political asylum seeker. Yildrim was tortured in Turkey because of his political work. In spite of his legal status in Germany he now was arrested on a Interpol warrent, because of a request for extradition by Turkey. If Binali Yildrim is deported to Turkey, he is facing a long imprinsonment and new torture. I ask you therefore to do everything in your possibilities to stand in for the right of asylum and against the deportation and extradition of Binalis Yildrim to Turkey.
